We are asked to conduct a PHIL IRI to grade III-SPED pupils under the supervision of Mrs. Charito Avila. The students were also bright, they can answer any of the questions. But there are instances that a child can no longer remember some of the names and terms but we should give considerations to that as long as the concept is still their. I was amazed by the competencies the student possesses.

We are now assigned in grade IV-SPED, continuation of yesterday's Phil IRI. Like what we've expected, pupils in higher section are smart and intelligent. None of them were non-readers, they comprehend well based on what they had read. That activity is unannounced but they are ready and I can see the eagerness in their eyes in answering the questions. Some of them give explanations to broaden their answers. We also handled the grade III, they are good and active but some of them wasn't able to remember important terms.In general, the training given by the school has it's high quality.
We enjoyed talking and socializing with the pupils. That experiences are additional to our learning as future teachers.

This will be the first observation of our group for the second semester. We are entertained by the school principal of Lopez West Elementary School Mrs. Clarita Albos, orienting and teaching us on how to manage and facilitate learning through different ways,methods,techniques, and approaches.
An on-going local demonstration had been observed by our team which an intern from our school is the facilitator, but unfortunately it was just a continuation of yesterday's demo. Her topic is all about the parts of a book and she was able to finish it in a smooth way.The teacher has a an authoritative voice that enables her to get the full attention of grade IV-SPED.
We were oriented on how to conduct and facilitate a PHIL IRI which evaluates the knowledge gained by the students in reading with comprehension.
The Heart of a Leader was a book written by KEN BLANCHARD. The book is composed of his insights and wisdom on choosing values, aiming for excellence, maintaining integrity, finding the courage to change, helping others to reach their potentials.
The book is actually consisting of different quotations that inspires me. It also has the words of wisdom and philosophies written by famous authors and philosophers.
